Mr. Jérôme Biard will take over the management of Corum and Eterna on 1st of September, which includes the implementation of the overall strategy initiated by the Board of Directors and the general management of the operations of the two brands. Mr. Biard’s 25-year experience in the watch industry will be an asset to the Group’s profitability and diversification.

The Corum Watches Golden Bridge Price Replica Bubble watch was initially released at Baselworld, way back in the year 2000. Although just fifteen years has passed since then, the landscape of the luxury watch industry has changed beyond recognition. The initial Bubble has been 44mm broad, which made it an outlier in these days. In addition to that, the design was fairly unusual. Watch collectors were not so accustomed to risks as they are now, but nevertheless, the Corum Bubble found favour among a committed demographic. It will be interesting to understand how the re-release of this Corum Bubble is composed by a consumer base that’s far savvier than it was at the turn of this century. The profile of this watch remains unusually towering, with one of the highest-domed crystals I’ve ever seen. The impact this has on the dial is not possible to dismiss. The glass distorts the dial giving it an unnatural sense of thickness. This is appropriate in terms of style fidelity, as it totally adheres to the use of spheres throughout the watch — most clearly about the rubber-ringed crown at 3 o’clock. Furthermore, it manages to stay true to Wunderman’s original vision, which was inspired by a 1960s dive watch that featured a huge crystal to withstand the pressure of deep-sea exploration. However, is this view just an homage, or possess Corum upgraded it significantly to appeal to a modern audience?
Mr. Jérôme Biard has been working for 16 years at Richemont, in sales and marketing for Vacheron Constantin and Cartier. In 2005, he assumed the role of International Sales Director for Girard-Perregaux and in 2009 was appointed CEO of LPI (Weitnauer Group) – a luxury watch & lifestyle distribution company for the Russian market, as well as Turkey and Brazil, including the creation of a retail division by capitalizing on his vast business development experience.

Mr. Jacques-Alain Vuille will continue to share with Mr. Jérôme Biard the experience he has gained during his 37 years in the company.
